TURF EVENTS : CONFERENCES : 2010 NC TURFGRASS
2010 Turfgrass Conference
The Conference
Can you really improve what’s arguably the premiere educational conference in the
country for turfgrass professionals?
We tried! So, this year’s educational program features some new things: Workshop
content for beginner, intermediate, and advanced practitioners; More than 42 pesticide
credit hours and 4.35 hours of GCSAA credit;
Vendors will be providing education, too. Both at the show, and during Wednesday’s
conference programming; and
The General Session features a project everyone’s talking about, Renewal and
Remembrance - The Arlington National Cemetery Volunteer Project.
The Celebration & Show
We thought about improving this year’s show as well. Many questions were asked,
like: What if a trade show’s success was measured by the number of friends, colleagues
and partners it created? What if, for just one night, our industry came together
and tried to achieve something amazing. Would we look at ourselves differently in
the morning?
How can we take the show beyond the boundaries of a booth?
Sometimes new roads are needed to get you where you want to go. So, you may be surprised
by some of the things we’ve put in place this year – and even by some of the things
you don’t find (like pipe and drape). Either way, I welcome your call at (919) 380-9446.
The volunteers who put our conference and show together this year worked with one
singular vision: create something that allows our partners to find value and meaning
through their participation in TCNC.
Hoping to see you in January!
