Bonita Bay Club Internship Posting – 2018/19 Winter Season and 2019 Season

Bonita Bay Club is an exclusive country club facility located on two properties in Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida. The 90 holes of golf are made up 3-Arthur Hills and 2-Tom Fazio Championship golf courses. The golf courses are maintained at a championship level, and member expectations are for top tier conditioning.

Internship Program:

The Agronomy Department Internship Program under the new direction of Curtis Tyrrell, CGCS, MG, has developed a unique program offering students insight into multi-course large scale operations, cross cultural staff management, the finer details and specific turfgrass cultural practices, high level management experience, and customized learning opportunities. Our internship program will prepare students for top tier positions throughout the country, as well as, management positions within our own team.

This season’s opportunity is highlighted by the upcoming full-scale renovation of the Bay Island course, which entails the complete rebuilding of greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers. A large amount of lake and wetland work is also included. The entire golf course will be re-grassed. The project is scheduled to begin on April 8, 2019.
