OYSTER HARBORS CLUB

Oyster Harbors Club is situated on Grand Island, Osterville on the southern shores of Cape Cod, MA. Founded in 1926, Oyster Harbors Club has become synonymous with championship-caliber golf and the ultimate summer retreat. The 18-hole championship course is regarded as one of Donald Ross’s of 2023, the Club intends to re-establish Ross’s original designs with the help of architect Gil Hanse.

Beginning in the Fall, The enhancement plan includes the installation of a new pump house and full golf course irrigation system, finishing with Gil Hanse’s master improvement plans. Oyster Harbors Club is looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for golf and its history.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Interns will have the opportunity to work with the Superintendents on an internship program to meet their needs. This program will include, but is not limited to the following activities:

  • Course Set-up
  • IPM Techniques and Scouting
  • Water Management
  • Mowing/Rolling
  • Equipment Use Management
  • Daily Course Maintenance
  • Fertilizer & Pesticides Applications Irrigation Installation & Repair
  • Opportunity to obtain Massachusetts Pesticides Applicators License

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year Turf Management Program
