Turfgrass Field Day is held the second Wednesday of August every year and offers a chance to view the NC State University Turfgrass Program’s ongoing research trials and speak directly with NC State University’s faculty, staff, and students. The broad range of topics includes cultural practices, new cultivars, turfgrass breeding program, disease management, pesticide fate, fraise mowing, precision turf management, aquatic weed management, using drones, managing mosquitoes, weed control, and more.
